New Radio Station In Grants Pass

GRANTS PASS, Ore. — A long time Southern Oregon radio personality is back on the radio waves, picking up the last radio frequency in the city of Grants Pass.

Don Monette, former KAJO morning announcer, is back in the business after a three-year leave. He is now the owner and voice of the new station KCMD 99.3. Monette claimed the radio frequency at an auction after 38 rounds of bidding. But the incentive to come back he says came from his loyal fans.

KCMD is up and running and you can tune in twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Monette hosts the morning show that kicks off at 6 a.m.
