MEDFORD, Ore. — Today, Jackson County Commissioners will be considering a newly-passed law establishing a system for licensing and regulating medical marijuana dispensaries.
The law paves the way for marijuana to be transferred to facilities from cardholders, designated caregivers and marijuana grow sites. Commissioners will be discussing the registration system for medical marijuana facilities.
The governor signed the controversial bill into law on earlier this month. The law directs The Oregon Health Authority to establish the system.
