MEDFORD, Ore. — Business leaders in southern Oregon announced a new plan to use success stories of local small businesses to attract more companies to the Rogue Valley.
Leaders with Southern Oregon Regional Economic Development Inc., announced a new campaign called “Southern Oregon Edge” at its annual meeting Wednesday afternoon. SOREDI plans to produce profiles on its web site about local small businesses that have grown in the Rogue Valley. They said they want new companies to view the success stories and learn more about the region than just numbers and statistics.
“Maybe when we come back a year from now, we’ll have a success list of companies that are looking at Southern Oregon and putting their business in this region,” said Ron Fox, SOREDI Executive Director.
Wednesday’s meeting also featured speakers from several local companies, including Brammo, ProCare Software, and Rogue Wilderness Adventures.
