ROGUE RIVER, Ore. — Hundreds of people flocked to Rogue River Saturday morning to enjoy National Rooster Crow festivities. Saturday morning kicked off with a parade through the heart of downtown Rogue River.
The crowd enjoyed dozens of floats many with rooster themes. There was also an art festival and a human rooster crow contest, all of which led up to the National Rooster Crow Competition
Rogue River has held the National Rooster Crow contest since 1953 and it has now grown into a three day event. Sunday the annual festivities will wrap up with a rooster crow car show starting at 8 a.m.
