MEDFORD, Ore. — A murder trial is set to begin this week for a defendant accused of killing a Medford man nearly two years ago.
Travis Asbill is charged with the murder of Donald Mack in June 2012. Police said at the time that Asbill assaulted Mack with a golf club. Mack was killed one year after Asbill was released from prison after serving seven years for attempted murder in a separate case.
Attorneys began selecting the jury Tuesday, and arguments are set to begin later this week
