YREKA, Calif. — The woman accused of murdering her husband near the Applegate Creek area is expected to be in court on Tuesday. Patricia MacCallum is accused of shooting her husband Michael MacCallum with the help of her step sister, Amber Lubbers.
Both women were arrested in Jackson County on December 7th and were later extradited to the Siskiyou County Jail. MacCallum appeared in the Siskiyou County Court on December 21st for an arraignment.
She did not enter a plea at the time and is expected to do so on Tuesday. Her bail is set at $1 million. Lubbers is also being held in the Siskiyou County Jail on a $1 million bail and previously entered a plea of not guilty.
