MEDFORD, Ore. – Another film production hits Southern Oregon, and some people are calling it a big boost for the region.
The holiday film, “By God’s Grace”, began shooting Friday at the “Hearts With A Mission” house in Medford. Many of the principal speaking roles are being filled by local actors.
The Medford Chamber says the region has seen several films shoot scenes in the Rogue Valley and they say it can give a big financial impact on the region.
“They’re staying for a long time. They do different things. Typically they’re here longer and they’re more committed for a longer period of time. Anywhere from, typically, two weeks we’ll see them, to up to six-to-eight weeks,” said Medford Chamber’s Anne Jenkins.
The crew is set to continue filming in parts of Southern Oregon over the next few weeks.
