The sunny, warm and dry conditions will persist into the weekend with highs remaining about 10-20 degrees above average! High pressure will be the reason for the sunshine which also means pollen will likely worsen through the weekend as well. You can follow me on Facebook and Twitter for the most up to date pollen counts from the Allergy and Asthma Center of Southern Oregon. Today trees are pollinating up to Very High levels will grass is pollinating at High.
Next week temperatures will drop closer to seasonal normals with mid-60s back in the forecast for west side valleys and mid-50s for the east side. There will also be a chance for showers late Tuesday into Wednesday. This system looks fairly week but could be enough to break apart the ridge and open the storm door for more active weather, but this is still over a week away so we will continue to monitor this.
Thanks for logging on and have a great evening! I’d love to see you enjoy the weather, send your photos to me on Facebook!
