A big ridge of high pressure will build quickly over Southern Oregon…pushing the jet-stream northward and east of the region. Under high pressure and a low sun angle, inversions are still likely to form in January and February…and the next six days will be filled with an increase in valley fog, pollution and what we really call “smog”…while the mountains, hills and Coast seeing warmer temperatures and lots of sunshine.

Is there a way to add “wind chill” to the forecasts?? Don’t see a need for “heat index’ when its in the teens or low 20′s.
