A well defined band of rain is moving in from the South this morning. Rain showers are likely across all locations today with snow levels staying between 4,500′ & 5,000.’ Most of these showers are going to be light and won’t drop much in the way of rain. More measurable rain will fall the further south you are — mostly Mt. Shasta and south.
Rain showers will be ongoing through the weekend. Saturday, most of the activity will be along and east of the Cascades but by Sunday, our next storm system moves in from the West. This is going to bring a better chance for showers to all locations once again.
This active weather pattern will be ongoing through all of next week as of right now. Several disturbances will move in from our south and west. This is going to keep temperatures mild and snow levels above the passes — between 4,500′ & 5,500.’
