North Medford’s Maryssa Becker pitches a one-hitter, stirkes out 14, and hits two homeruns as the Black Tornado beat Lakeridge 8-0 in the first round of the 6A Softball Playoffs.
In baseball, North Medford falls to Beaverton 7-3, while Crater hangs on to beat Canby 6-4.
The Oregon Ducks have a one game lead over Arizona and just three games against the Beavers remaining.
