Monday Morning Fire Update

Firefighters are continuing to battle several fires burning tens of thousands of acres throughout Southern Oregon.

The fire with the most overnight activity was the Big Windy Complex.  It grew by 1,693 acres to 9,192 acres.  It is still 0% contained.  Officials are concerned the Jenny Fire, which is part of the complex, will jump the Rogue River.

The Douglas Complex grew another 1,174 acres overnight to 35,633 acres.  Containment also increased to 16%.

The Whiskey Complex is 678 acres larger from last night, burning 7,368 acres.  It is 25% contained.

The Labrador Fire did not change overnight.  It has charred more than 2,000 acres.  It has no containment at this time.

The  Brimstone Fire grew by 74 acres in the last 24-hours and is now at 2,372 acres. It is now 80% contained.
