GRANTS PASS, Ore. — A man reported missing has now been found safe.
Grants Pass Department of Public Safety said at around 8:30 a.m. 68-year-old Bruce Lemmerman appeared to be having a medical problem and exited a family member’s vehicle while at the intersection of the Grants Pass Parkway and North East Beacon Drive.
The family was heading to the Oregon Cave’s National Monument. When family members discussed going home, Lemmerman left the area on foot. The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety, with the assistance of the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office searched for Lemmerman.
Four hours after the initial call, Lemmerman was located at the Oregon Caves National Monument and was found to be in good condition.
