Missing Grants Pass Woman Found Safe

GRANTS PASS, Ore. — Oregon State Police and Josephine County Sheriff’s Office has found a 66-year old woman reported missing by her husband from their residence between Merlin and Grants Pass.

At approximately 12:51 a.m. on Sunday, the husband of 66-year-old Janielle Mitchell contacted police, reporting her missing from their residence in the 2800 block of Azalea Drive.

Mitchell reportedly got up shortly after midnight to go to the bathroom and didn’t return to bed. He believed she went outside where temperatures are in the single digits.

She was found this morning safe and is not injured.
