Missing Medford Man Located

MP14-9298 JACKSON, DAKOTA[UPDATE 5:30 P.M.] Medford Police say Dakota Wayne Jackson has now been located. No other details on his condition have been released.

[PREVIOUSLY] MEDFORD, Ore. — At noon on Saturday Medford Police were dispatched to a report of a missing adult who apparently walked away from a foster care facility on the 1400 block of South Way.

Dakota Wayne Jackson, 20, has the reported mental faculties of a 13 year old.

He was last seen by a care provider at 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

Officials say he has severe mental health issues and should not be approached by anyone other than law enforcement. Police say he has ties to Medford and Grants Pass.

He is about 5’7, 150 lbs and has reddish brown hair. He also has a tattoo of a guitar on his upper right arm. He is possibly in possession of a BMX-style bike or skateboard.
