MEDFORD, Ore. – A Medford man is being remembered after being murdered in his home just over a week ago.
A bagpipe kicked off the ceremony as friends and family of 54-year-old Donald Mack shared their last memories of the victim. Medford police believe Mack was assaulted by 29-year-old Travis Asbill with a golf club.
Approximately fifty people trailed into the Perl Funeral Home. Outside they released balloons with their written goodbyes. Family members say their hope is that his death was not in vain. Mack is survived by his six children and 12 grand children.
