MEDFORD, Ore. — In an overnight hit and run incident, a driver swerves off the road, nearly crashing into a house.
One of the witnesses, Amber Russell, spoke with NewsWatch 12 last night. According to the witness, close to midnight, the driver was traveling on the 2000 block of Howard Avenue in Medford when he went through the stop sign at a high speed.
“He just kind of peeled out right there again and didn’t stop. So then I guess shortly after, he came in and peeled through again and lost control,” said Russell.
That driver went over the sidewalk and took out a fence. A house nearby was only a couple of feet away from that fence. The witness says the driver appeared angry and possibly intoxicated.
