Medford Schools Get Extra Day

MEDFORD, Ore. — Students in the Medford School District now have one more day of school.

Monday June 10 will now be a regular school day for all students, except graduated seniors, to make up for a day they missed last winter because of bad weather.

Busses will run on their regular schedules, and the school district’s food service program will provide regular meals. Principals will work with teachers to ensure that students receive a full day of quality instruction.

The addition of June 10 will ensure that schools provide 170 days of instruction as planned and as provided in the district’s contracts with employees.
