Medford School District Budget Cuts

MEDFORD, Ore. — The Medford School District has released a plan to cut tens of millions of dollars from the budget over the next three decades.

Changes in the new plan will impact non-union employees including administrators. The changes include: reduced district contribution to medical benefits, an end to the early retirement plan and a 4.5% pay increase.

Officials say the new plan should save the District $73 million over the next 30 years.
