nye shootingMEDFORD, Ore. — Medford Police are still looking for a man they believe fired several shots in a west Medford neighborhood New Year’s Eve night..

The incident happened in the 900 block of Broad Street. Police said two brothers got into some kind of dispute, and one fired several shots. No one was hurt and no property was damaged.

That man has not been caught, and police do not know what led up to the incident.

The shooting capped off a busy night for Medford Police, who had extra officers on hand to handle a high number of calls. Officers said most calls had to do with fights at homes and at downtown bars.

“A lot of, obviously, alcohol- related calls,” said officer Tom Ianeri. “Most of the calls were domestic related.”

Medford Police also made two DUII arrests on Medford streets overnight.
