Medford Police Investigate Stabbing

Suspect Injures and Threatens PoliceMEDFORD, Ore. – Medford Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred early Sunday morning on intersection of N. Front and 5th Street.

Police responded to the intersection at around 2:06 a.m., where they found a victim had been stabbed multiple times and was suffering from life threatening injuries.

The stabbing victim was transported to a local hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. Police say he is expected to live.

After at this time, police believe the incident was not random and the people involved in the stabbing are apparently known to each other. Police are not releasing any names at this time.
