Medford Police Arrest Shooting Suspect

MEDFORD, Ore. — Medford Police say they’ve made an arrest related to the drive-by shooting reported on Tuesday.

On Wednesday morning, Medford Police and the Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement Team (MADGE) identified and located the driver involved in the drive-by shooting. After questioning, 16 year old Omar Alberto Gonzalez was lodged at the Community Justice Juvenile Division Detention Center.

Medford Police said detectives also located another 18 year old male who was involved in the case. He was questioned and released. Police are also searching for two other subjects who were in the vehicle at the time, one of which is believed to be the shooter. Police are not releasing the names of those individuals.
