Medford, Ore. – Once again, Medford Parks and Recreation is back with its Summer Concert Series.

This year, the free concert series features some artists you typically have to pay to see.  On Wednesday nights at 7 o’clock the concerts take place at the Bear Creek Park or Pear Blossom Park on 4th and Bartlett Streets.

Next Wednesday, you’ll be able to see the Beatles tribute band, Abbey Road LIVE!  Parks and Recreation Resource Development Coordinator, Quinnan Picton said, “We’re very happy since it’s the 50 year anniversary since the Beatles invaded America, so having a Beatles tribute band will be really really fun.”

Other acts include Babylon Saints, Brian James and An Evening with Ottmar Liebert & Luna Negra.

Medford Parks & Recreation also offers a Movies in the Park series, as well as Family Fun Nights and Comedy Classics at the Commons.  The movies include everything from Rio 2 for the kids, to Office Space for the teenagers and adults.
