MEDFORD, Ore. — A Medford man is accused of sexually abusing multiple underage girls. On Wednesday, a Jackson County Grand Jury returned a 27 count indictment on 20-year-old Christian Alexander Sanchez for multiple counts of sex abuse and online sexual corruption of a child.
The grand jury indictment comes several months after a Medford Police investigation into Sanchez’s alleged online activity. Police said Sanchez had communicated with dozens of underage girls through Facebook and text messaging applications.
Medford Police stated much of the communication involved the sending and receiving of sexually explicit photographs of several different nude underage girls. Police also allege that Sanchez engaged in sexual activity with at least three of those girls.
Christian Sanchez was located by Medford Police officers on Thursday and arrested on the indictment charges. His bail was set at a million dollars.
