MEDFORD, Ore. — Dozens of cars packed the Medford Armory parking lot Sunday showing a big turnout for The Original Medford Giant Flea Market.
Dennis Nelson, the market’s owner, says it’s a bulletproof event. Regardless of the state of the economy, most people show up every year in search of a good deal.
In fact, there was a line of people waiting to get inside before it opened. About a thousand people are expected to walk through the market on Sunday alone.
“A lot of people come down out of curiosity browse around, see what they can find, and I think most of the time they usually walk out of here with something,” said Nelson.
The 43rd annual market offered everything from vinyl records to antique glass.
