MEDFORD, Ore. — Sunday marked the begining of a week long celebration that has several events on tap.
Medford Beer Week kicked off with beer and breakfast at Beerworks in downtown. This is the second year for the event, which showcased beers from breweries across Southern Oregon and California.
Organizers expect to build off of last year’s success and expect Beer Week will do big things for the city’s economy.
“Southern Oregon in particular has seen a lot of growth in this industry,” says Beerworks Owner Chris Dennett. “It’s great. It brings people to Medford to show off the good venues we have and the places that are focused on beer.”
Medford Beer Week will run all week and come to an end on June 16th with the Southern Oregon Craft Brew Festival. For a full list of events, click here.
