MEDFORD, Ore. — Former Ashland and Oregon State baseball player Max Gordon went out with a bang this season with the Beavers, making himself a regular on highlight reels with his incredible diving catches. But soon after the Beavers were eliminated from the College World Series, he made the decision to focus on coaching.

Gordon is now an assistant with the Medford Rogues, where he says the biggest adjustment is coaching high school and college players that he knew from his own playing days.
