Marijuana Bust Near Klamath River

NEAR KLAMATH RIVER, Ore. – The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office conducted a large-scale marijuana eradication effort on Monday. It was in the wooded area just west of the town of Klamath River, California.

The grow was found in steep terrain that is very difficult to access by vehicle, so the helicopter was used to remove the pot plants. No word yet on how many plants were found in that area.

Multiple agencies were on scene, including the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. Immediately after the eradication was complete, the crews headed over to help with evacuation preparations.
