Man’s Walk For Blue Slide Completed

ASHLAND, Ore. — A local man completed his 50+-mile walk from Grants Pass to Ashland. 67-year-old Brady Adams began his journey in Grants Pass on Friday from the Riverside Elementary playground.

His goal is to fundraise and bring awareness to the ‘Blue Slide Project’, a program inspired by a 4-year-old boy who is handicapped and is working to create more wheelchair-accessible playgrounds.

Tuesday was Adams longest stretch; he left at 6 a.m. Tuesday morning for his eleven-plus mile walk. Adams collected donations during his trip and has made his own donation, which will be matched by a local bank.
