KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — A Klamath Falls man has been found guilty of several assault charges after hitting his young child.
Damon Revis was convicted of second and fourth degree felony assault, along with felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault in the fourth degree.
Officials say in February, Revis was assaulting his wife, when his 14 and 17-year-olds tried to intervene. Officials say he then picked up a broom handle, hitting his two-month old infant in the head.
The baby’s skull was fractured and had bleeding in the brain. Revis is set to be sentenced in August.
