Man Faces Charges After Wrong-Way Crash

Suspect Injures and Threatens PoliceGRANTS PASS, Ore. — A Grants Pass man is facing charges after police say he drove his car into a wrong-way collision.

It happened around 6 a.m. on I-5, about 4 miles north of Grants Pass. Oregon State Police says Sergey Zhura was driving southbound in the northbound lanes when he crashed.

They say he then turned around and took off. At some point while he was driving, police say Zhura sideswiped a Toyota Camry.

The Grants Pass man is now facing several charges, including reckless driving.
