Man Arrested for Courthouse Threats

MEDFORD, Ore. — Late last year, the Justice Building in Medford was evacuated because of a bomb threat. It was just one of dozens across the country.

FBI agents say they’ve arrested the man who called all those threats in. Lonny Bristow was taken into federal court on Thursday in Ohio.

Agents say the 39-year-old is responsible for the phone calls that cleared out public buildings in five states last November and December. The FBI hasn’t announced a motive in the bomb threats yet.
