Man Arrested After Police Chase

MEDFORD, Ore. – A man is in the Jackson County Jail after leading police on a chase that stopped traffic for twenty minutes on Monday afternoon. It began when police tried to pull over a driver with a license plate that was incorrect for the vehicle.

Then,  21-year-old Jamie Castro sped off from the intersection of Avenue A and Atlantic Avenue in White City to north Foothills Road and Coker Butte in Medford, when he ran over spikes that authorities had laid down.

Castro is currently in the Jackson County Jail with bail set at $12,000.
