MADGE Arrests Alleged Meth Suspect

PoliceASHLAND, Ore. — Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement say they arrested a California man on Friday morning for his alleged involvement in a large-scale meth distribution operation.

Around 10:30 a.m., Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement investigators stopped a bronze California plated 2004 Volvo utility vehicle on Eagle Mill Road at Butler Creek Road in Ashland during a drug investigation.

Investigators had received information the suspect in the vehicle was involved in large scale methamphetamine distribution throughout the Southern Oregon area, including Ashland. A Medford Police K9 was deployed which alerted on the vehicle.

During the search, police say approximately nine ounces of crystal methamphetamine broken down for sales in nine packages was located. 36-year-old Saul Rosales was lodged at Jackson County Jail on charges of manufacture, possession and delivery of methamphetamine. His bail was set at over a million dollars.
