YREKA, Calif. — A Medford woman will stand trial for the murder of her husband.
A Siskiyou County Judge ruled that there was enough evidence against Patricia MacCallum to proceed with a trial. MacCallum is accused of killing her husband, Michael MacCallum, in November of last year. His body was found in the Applegate Creek area, on the California side of the border.
MacCallum’s step-sister, Amber Lubbers, pleaded guilty to being an accesory after the fact last week, and testified against MacCallum on Friday. No trial date has been set at this time.
