Rain ended earlier on Wednesday…and a relative calm has resulted in the wake of what has been labeled the “biggest six day storm in 50 years” for the Medford Jackson County Airport. The water is receding, but considerable clouds remain west of the Cascades. East of the Cascades, skies are clearing, and there may be some freezing fog. A weak storm system will pass over the area on Friday. It will drop some light snow showers over the passes and maybe an inch or two at Mt. Ashland and Crater Lake. High pressure over the weekend will result more widespread fog over the weekend and early next week.
