Local Residents to Help with Hurricane

MEDFORD, Ore. — Local Red Cross officials sent two local residents to help with Hurricane Sandy on Saturday.

One person will help with health services and the other will help with mass food services. Local Red Cross officials told Newswatch 12 that one person is from Klamath Falls and the other is from Fort Jones.

They will likely help in the New Jersey area. According to local Red Cross officials, the two left Saturday with Philadelphia as the destination to meet up with the Red Cross officials to get specifics on assignments.
