GRANTS PASS, Ore. – One lucky Grants Pass resident is back home after becoming the latest local to appear on Wheel of Fortune.

Dan DeYoung and his wife, Pam, went to Los Angeles to shoot the episode, but they won’t get to relive it until it actually airs Monday night. DeYoung was picked after trying out at the Wheelmobile event at North Medford High. He says the experience was one-of-a-kind.

“Very few people can sit on the couch 30 years ago and say you’re going to do something, and 30 years later actually follow through and stand on that stage,” said DeYoung. “It was a real thrill.”

DeYoung’s episode airs Monday night at 7:30 p.m. He says he isn’t allowed to talk about whether or not he won anything, but viewers can find out when the show airs.
