CENTRAL POINT, Ore. — Downtown Central Point is getting ready for the Wild Pro Rogue Rodeo.

The rodeo is no outlaw to southern Oregon. This year rodeo officials look for more than 10,000 people to come out to The Expo for the annual rodeo.

There will be more than 25 vendors set up, and a rodeo taking place every night Thursday through Saturday starting at 7 p.m.

Tickets for all three night are still available and so are several hotel rooms around the area.

Motel 6 said its rooms are not filling up yet, but they expect a crowd.  The Holiday Inn Express said it still has rooms available too, but in anticipation, it is stocking up on extra food for its breakfast buffet.

Sonic Drive-In said it’s looking for sales to nearly double this weekend, and not only is it prepping extra food, but also calling for all hands on deck.

Last year the rodeo brought in nearly $250,000, and with unique and cheaper event options on Thursday this year, officials are hoping to herd even more people to the biggest little rodeo in the west.
