MEDFORD, Ore. — Lithia Honda of Medford is lending a paw for those in need. Thursday the dealership donated $1000 to Dogs for the Deaf through their award known as “The Love Bucket”.

Dogs for the Deaf rescues dogs from unhealthy situations. The animals are then trained and donated to qualified clients throughout the United States who have different disabilities, challenges, and needs. This is Love Bucket’s third year supporting the charity.

“It helps us with our work of rescuing these dogs and helping people with disabilities,” explains Dogs for the Deaf President, Robin Dickson. “Every donation makes a big difference and they’ve been doing this for three years now, very, very generously.”

“The Love Bucket” was started in 2011 by Lithia Honda of Medford as a way to support local charitable organizations in the community.
