Lightning Strikes Kill 2 in Colorado

co(CNN) — Two deaths in two days. Lightning at the Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado struck and killed two people over the weekend of July 11, and 12.

Officials said a man in a wheelchair was hit on Saturday at an area called Rainbow Curve Overlook. A dozen other people were also hurt.

Witnesses said they didn’t even see the lightning strike, “It felt like something hit me in the head, I lost my vision for a full 10 seconds.”

On Friday, a hiker was killed by lightning and seven others in her group were hurt.
