The fire danger level in Jackson & Josephine Counties has climbed to high today. You can find a list of the new restrictions here.
A weather disturbance to our north and west will bring light and scattered showers to Southern Oregon later today. Skies will be partly to mostly sunny.
These showers will bring just light rain into early evening, measurable rain is unlikely once again. The more noticeable impact through early week will be the cooler temperatures in place. Highs will top out in the 50′s & 60′s in the Klamath Basin, and near or below 70 for West Side Valleys for Monday.
Temperatures will stay cool through Tuesday before a new air mass pushes in from the West by midweek. Highs will then jump 10 degrees in Wednesday. The weather will stay inactive from Wednesday into the weekend, with sunny to mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures. Dry weather will be ongoing through early next week.
