A much cooler air mass has settled into the Northwest today. Temperatures will trend even cooler than Thursday and actually below average for the first time in quite a while. Highs will be in the 50’s and 60’s east of the Cascades and the 60’s and 70’s across the West Side.
Skies will start off mostly cloudy Friday and turn partly sunny into the afternoon. Light and isolated showers are likely, with a better chance the further north you are. Skies will stay mostly sunny over Northern California where dry weather will be ongoing.
The weekend was initially looking clear, but it’s interesting how much the forecast can change in this area in just a 24 hour window. The 7 day is now much cooler than it was yesterday. Not as much of a warm up is expected next week, and some clouds are expected throughout the weekend as well.
Father’s Day though, is still looking good — mostly sunny with temperatures in the mid and upper 70’s for the Valley.
