Law Enforcement Investigates Burglary

Police Investigation MYRTLE CREEK, Ore. — Law enforcement in Myrtle Creek are looking for two suspects in a burglary investigation.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said a homeowner told deputies he had interrupted a burglary in the 2800 block of Dole Road, Myrtle Creek, Oregon. The burglary occurred early Monday morning.

The homeowner told deputies he confronted two male suspects and fired a pistol at them. Both suspects then ran from the scene. It is unknown if either suspect were wounded. Law enforcement says the homeowner was not injured.
