Law Enforcement Changes In Klamath Co.

KLAMATH COUNTY, Ore. – The new year will bring some changes to Klamath County law enforcement and justice system.

District Attorney Ed Calab is retiring as of the first of the year. Caleb was appointed district attorney in 1985. Caleb says he was stepping down because the pressures of the job were aggravating a health condition.

There will also be a new sheriff, Frank Skrah, in Klamath County. He takes over from Tim Evinger who stepped down after more than a decade as Klamath County’s top cop.
