Last Year’s Fire Season Recovery Ongoing

Firefighter DeathGRANTS PASS, Ore. — While we talk about a current fire concern, the Bureau of Land Management is still working to recover from last summer’s season.

Tonight, it’s hosting a public meeting, focusing on the recovery efforts on the tens of thousands of acres burned by the Douglas and Windy Complex Fires.

BLM officials will be talking about a lot of issues, including roads and road safety, fire planning and economic recovery.

The meeting is happening tonight from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Grants Pass Interagency Office on Spalding Avenue.
