MEDFORD, Ore. – Primary ballots are signed, sealed, and ready to be turned in at the official county clerk drop-off locations.

Jackson County Clerk Chris Walker estimated a 55% voter turnout this year after several controversial measures were added to the ballot. Wednesday’s closing return numbers already exceeded the 37% total voter return from the past two primaries, at 39.5%.

Ballots cannot be mailed in at this point. Voters must return them to the official drop site locations in their respective counties.
