The rain kept turnout relatively small for the market’s last day, but organizers say overall they tripled in size compared to last year — both in terms of vendors and attendance.
This was the market’s first year in the downtown commons. Organizers say they plan to expand even further next year.
“We have room for a hundred vendors. If we have enough customers to support that, the vendors will come,” said market manager Jill Kennedy.
Signup for new vendors for next year’s Saturday market starts in January.
Vendors already at the downtown location say they’re looking forward to the seasonal break.
The Tuesday and Thursday markets in Medford and Ashland will continue until the end of the month.
