CENTRAL POINT, Ore. — The nonprofit best known for its elementary school health centers is now taking its resources to a high school campus.
La Clinica is taking over the Crater High School Health Center. This comes after Jackson County Health recent announcement that it will not renew its contract for another year.
La Clinica said they divided to step in as the new operator to provide both health and behavioral services but to also maximize classroom time for students. La Clinica staff will be training in the coming weeks and will open for business in the fall.
