Klamath Man Arrested in Josephine County

HornJOSEPHINE COUNTY, Ore. — Oregon State Police arrested a Klamath County man Tuesday evening in Josephine County who was wanted for Attempted Murder. The warrant issued for him was in relation to a Klamath County Sheriff’s Office investigation into a shots fired incident in Sprague River in May of 2013.

On Tuesday evening OSP troopers responded the the Williams Country Store after receiving a tip that Michael Robert Horn, 41, and Rebecca June Tompkins, 36, were spotted there.

Further investigation confirmed Horn was the wanted man from Klamath County. Tompkins was also wanted out of Klamath County on a misdemeanor warrant for Failure to Appear in the second degree. Tompkins was issued a citation to appear in court and was not lodged in jail. Horn was arrested and lodged in the Josephine County Jail pending transfer to the Klamath County Jail.
